            <p id="isPasted">About the role &ndash;</p><p>At UoN we have a Vision to be the best UK University for Sport. For the Participation team, this means maximising engagement in sport for all. The Sport Outreach role will work in partnership with the university Residential Experience team to drive participation from students living in Halls encouraging them to utilise their Active Living package, facilitating friendships and improving wellbeing. The role will also focus on creating meaningful insight driven interventions that open up sport and physical activity to International Students which will not only encourage greater participation in sport but strengthen community and sense of belonging.</p><p>Our approach places students at the heart of everything we do. This role will play a positive role in student experience by facilitating friendships, creating a sense of community, and fostering belonging among residents.</p><p>You&rsquo;ll &ndash;</p><p>&middot; Co-ordinate and implement a series of Active Living large events and smaller termly targeted initiatives across all campus.</p><p>&middot; Embed current UoN Sport programmes into Active Living and work with other teams and departments to encourage engagement (IMS, Just Play, Clubs, Gym, etc).</p><p>&middot; Devise systems for the collection of data, feedback, registration, and attendance for all programmes and events.</p><p>&middot; Review and evaluate international student engagement in sport and physical activity to understand current levels of engagement, perceived value, impact, and the barriers to our programmes.</p><p>&middot; Develop a strategic plan to support the increased engagement of international students in sport and physical activity, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of outcomes across all three University campuses.</p><p>&middot; Support ResX cultural events and build in sporty elements</p><p>&middot; Lead on the recruitment, management, training, and work programmes of part-time student ambassadors.</p><p>&middot; Manage and be accountable for a delegated budget, ensuring that expenditure is within agreed limits.</p><p>&middot; Embed monitoring and evaluation into programs to measure the impact of interventions (e.g. Sense of Belonging, friendships, wellbeing).</p><p>About the team-</p><p>Successful candidates will join the participation team dedicated to engaging, including and empowering students to participate in sport and physical activity at the University of Nottingham.</p><p>You will bring &ndash;</p><p>&middot; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people at all levels</p><p>&middot; Experience of devising, coordinating, and implementing a range of sports programmes</p><p>&middot; Demonstrable event organisation skills</p><p>&middot; Knowledge and understanding of the barriers to sport for HE students, including international students&nbsp;</p><p>&middot; Experience of gathering, analysing, and presenting data What we offer- In return, you&rsquo;ll benefit from:&nbsp;</p><p>&middot; A welcoming and supportive workplace where diversity is valued.&nbsp;</p><p>&middot; Flexible and hybrid working options to help you achieve a healthy work-life balance.&nbsp;</p><p>&middot; A generous annual leave entitlement of 27 days, plus bank holidays and University closure days, including the period between Christmas and New Year (pro rata).&nbsp;</p><p>&middot; Access to a wide range of staff benefits, including health and UoN Sport facilities, staff discounts and sustainable travel schemes. &middot; A commitment to supporting you throughout your career, including reasonable adjustments during recruitment and employment where required.&nbsp;</p><p>What next-&nbsp;</p><p>If you would like to discuss the role informally, please contact Daniella Dutton at daniella.dutton@nottingham.ac.uk.
