Applications are invited for the above post based at the University of Nottingham, to help with the development of the open-source behavioural and neuroscience software package, PsychoPy (https://www.psychopy.org/).
You will be a talented JavaScript (or Typescript) Developer, with a passion for open-source programming and, preferably, with experience in graphics/games libraries like Pixi.js or WebGL. Your principal work will be to maintain and extend the PsychoJS library (https://github.com/psychopy/psychojs), in support of PsychoPy experiments running in a web environment.
You will have experience of open source software development methods and either a background in computer science or a background in experimental psychology. You will have good communication skills to work with users and other developers. You will have the ability to organise your time effectively and understand the technical and scientific requirements of users.
