            <p id="isPasted">Applications are invited from medically-qualified doctors who seek integrated academic and clinical training for a clinical academic career. Two posts are available:</p><p><u>Post 1</u></p><p>Public Health <strong>or</strong> General Practice<strong>&nbsp;or</strong> Paediatrics, in the research theme of Primary Care and Community Care</p><p><u>Post 2</u></p><p>Renal Medicine <strong>or&nbsp;</strong>Clinical Radiology <strong>or&nbsp;</strong>Trauma &amp; Orthopaedic Surgery, with no set research theme</p><p id="isPasted">For Public Health, Paediatrics, Renal Medicine, Clinical Radiology and Trauma &amp; Orthopaedic Surgery, the post will be offered on a fixed term contract for a period of up to 4 years (if full-time; up to a maximum of 6 years part-time, pro-rata) or until award of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), whichever is the shorter. Hours of work are full time or part time (minimum 0.6FTE).</p><p>For General Practice only, the post will be offered on a fixed term contract for a period of 4 years if full-time; up to a maximum of 6 years part-time, pro-rata. Hours of work are full time or part time (minimum 0.6FTE).</p><p><strong>Successful applicants must be in post before 31 August 2027.</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>The successful candidates in these NIHR funded Clinical Lectureships will work with internationally acclaimed research groups in the University of Nottingham&rsquo;s School of Medicine, in which you will be trained in the latest state of the art techniques to improve health and well-being.             <p id="isPasted"><strong>About the programme:</strong> As a result of expansion and development, a new senior role provides an opportunity to join the established programme team of the Trent Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. The programme is a partnership between the Universities of Nottingham and Lincoln and three local NHS Trusts in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Our intake is 32-36 trainees per year, and the programme is approved by the Health &amp; Care Professions Council and accredited by the British Psychological Society. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>About the role:</strong> This post is for a Senior Research Tutor, based at the University of Nottingham. The role involves supporting the implementation of our research strategy and the delivery of the research component of doctoral training. It brings the opportunity to develop a stream of doctoral research in line with your interests and the supervision of doctoral research. The role also has elements of leadership, curriculum development and line management, enabling you to get involved across the DClinPsy programme. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>About you:</strong> You will be a qualified Clinical Psychologist who is registered with the HCPC and eligible for Chartered Status with the BPS, with substantial post-qualification experience. You will have a track record in high-quality applied psychological research and a genuine passion for training others. You will also be responsible for developing best practice in research operations procedures and ensuring implementation across the School.
