            <p id="isPasted">The purpose of this role will be to support researchers within the Centre of Metabolism and Ageing Physiology (CoMAP) research team, an internationally renowned research group, in conducting research in the area of skeletal muscle metabolism with ageing and clinical conditions where muscle mass loss or maintenance is important in disease progression, the important role of muscle in health and disease is often overlooked. This role will primarily include using mass spectrometric approaches/instrumentation, the facility houses 11 mass spectrometers of varying configuration and molecular biological approaches to study muscle protein turnover and metabolism, primarily in humans. This varied role supports the administration and delivery of Clinical and Professional Skills Assessments (CPSAs) and other practical assessments for undergraduate medical students.</p><p>Working closely with colleagues, students, examiners and education providers, you will coordinate a wide range of activities including examiner administration, assessment preparation, training events, data checking, meeting support and examination logistics. You will also support the financial administration associated with assessment delivery, including processing examiner payment claims, raising purchase orders, receiving goods and services through the University&#39;s finance systems, and coordinating catering and other operational requirements. Working accurately and efficiently, you will help ensure that assessment activities are supported by effective financial processes and robust record keeping. In addition, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of assessments on examination days, helping to ensure a professional and positive experience for students, examiners and colleagues alike</p><p><strong>About the team- </strong></p><p>You will join a friendly and collaborative Assessment Delivery team within the Education Centre. The team is responsible for administering and delivering a range of assessments that support student progression throughout the medical programme. During busy assessment periods, team members work together to ensure examinations, results processing and related activities are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. The team will be largely based in the Clinical Exams Centre.</p><p><strong>About you- </strong></p><p>You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This multi-centre randomised controlled trial, funded by Yorkshire Cancer Research, aims to test the effectiveness and acceptability of various approaches to smoking cessation among patients attending for community-based lung health checks in Bradford, Hull, Manchester and Leeds. The study is led by Professor Rachael Murray from the University of Nottingham and Professor Matthew Callister from Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust.&nbsp;</p><p>You will contact study participants by telephone, completing questionnaires at set follow up times.             <p id="isPasted"><strong>About the role</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>The primary purpose of this role is to provide high quality anatomy teaching and contribute to the planning, design and development of learning outcomes and resources for the 5-year BMBS Medicine, 4-year Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM) and BSc (Hons) Medical Physiology and Therapeutics (MPT) programmes. You will develop new concepts and develop and win support for teaching development proposals. You will have an excellent knowledge of clinically relevant gross anatomy.&nbsp;</p><p>You will join a dedicated team of anatomy educators in the School of Medicine and contribute to teaching and assessments for the above programmes. You will regularly facilitate anatomy practical classes using a mixture of cadaveric prosections, models and 3D digital resources. You will convene modules, supervise undergraduate projects, act as a personal tutor and mark assessments.             <p id="isPasted"><strong>About the programme</strong></p><p>As a result of expansion and development, a new role provide an opportunity to join the established programme team of the Trent Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. The programme is a partnership between the Universities of Nottingham and Lincoln and three local NHS Trusts in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Our intake is 32 trainees per year, and the programme is approved by the Health &amp; Care Professions Council and accredited by the British Psychological Society. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>About the roles</strong></p><p>This is a Research Tutor post, with a small component of Academic Tutor duties, based at the University of Nottingham. The role involve offering and supervising doctoral research, therefore there is the opportunity to develop a stream of research in accordance with your own interests and experience. The role also has an element of academic assessment, pastoral support and curriculum delivery, enabling you to get involved across the DClinPsy programme. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>You will be a qualified Clinical Psychologist who is registered with the HCPC and eligible for Chartered Status with the BPS. Ideally you will have substantial post-qualification experience, although less experienced applicants are also encouraged to apply. We are seeking enthusiastic and forward-thinking part-time Clinical Assistant Professors to play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding teaching within the University of Nottingham, including our new, purpose-built Skills and Simulation facility. These flexible, part-time posts are designed to complement an ongoing clinical career, allowing you to bring current real-world practice directly into your teaching.
