            <p id="isPasted"><strong>INTERNAL VACANCY</strong></p><p><strong>This vacancy is open to employees of the University of Nottingham only.</strong></p><p id="isPasted">The University is seeking an experienced Information Compliance Manager to lead the operational delivery of our Information Compliance team within the Information Security and Compliance division of Governance and Assurance.</p><p>Reporting to the Associate Director of Information Compliance and Data Protection Officer, the Information Compliance Manager will provide line management to the Information Compliance Officers and Senior Information Compliance Officers and will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of statutory casework across the University.</p><p>As Information Compliance Manager you will:</p><ul type="disc"><li>Provide line management, development, and performance oversight for the Information Compliance team, allocating workload to ensure statutory deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.</li><li>Oversee the delivery of Subject Access Requests, FOIA requests and other statutory casework, acting as quality assurance and escalation point for complex or sensitive cases.</li><li>Lead the team&#39;s operational response to data breaches and information security incidents, assessing whether notification to the ICO or affected data subjects is required.</li><li>Liaise with the Information Commissioner&#39;s Office and other external bodies on statutory casework and breach matters.</li><li>Act as a key point of contact for Schools, Departments and Professional Services on information compliance matters, and support the delivery of privacy awareness training.</li></ul><p>The successful candidate will bring strong people management experience alongside significant, demonstrable knowledge of UK GDPR, DPA 2018 and FOIA gained within a large or complex organisation.
