            <p id="isPasted">The University of Nottingham has been providing an outstanding student experience for over 140 years and is a leading university of worldwide significance with established campuses in UK, China and Malaysia.</p><p><strong>Your role as a Gardener/Groundworker</strong></p><p>Based at either the Highfields Sports Ground or Jubilee Campus this is a full time, permanent role within the award-winning Landscape &amp; grounds team. Main duties will include assisting with the maintenance of a wide range of sports grounds areas to a high standard including marking out playing surfaces and maintaining turf and artificial surfaces. Other duties will include the preparation, care and maintenance of amenity landscapes areas across all university grounds including planting perennials, shrubs, supporting events such as Graduations &amp; open days. Candidates should be highly motivated, professional and be able to work with minimal supervision. You will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in amenity horticulture or Sports Ground practices, or a related discipline or have substantial relevant experience and can operate a wide range of powered machinery including tractors and other equipment used in Sports grounds maintenance &amp; Amenity horticulture. Due to the frequency with which the post holder will drive between university sites a full current driving licence is essential for this role.             <p id="isPasted"><strong>About the Role &amp; Team:</strong></p><p>We are looking for an experienced and customer focused Facilities Team Leader to join our team at University Park. Main duties will include organising and supervising the Building Attendant and Cleaning Teams, inspecting the infrastructure of the buildings, reporting maintenance issues and setting up meeting rooms ensuring adequate supplies of consumables are available for teaching and conferences.</p><p>You will also lock and unlock designated areas of the buildings within your area of responsibility issuing and receiving keys from staff and contractors ensuring relevant policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. A large part of this role includes being the first point of contact for visitors to the area which includes dealing with large numbers of enquiries face to face, by phone and by e-mail ensuring excellent customer service is always achieved. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleaning standards within the area and will induct, train and supervise the cleaning team carrying out appraisal conversations as required.</p><p>Candidates should have experience of working in a similar customer facing environment and have relevant cleaning experience. You will also have experience of supervising staff and ideally have basic maintenance experience and knowledge of fire and security alarm systems.
